Dr Elyssebeth Leigh
Dr Elyssebeth Leigh is a distinguished Australian educator. She has worked as a teacher, management consultant, HMR Specialist in private enterprise and educator and researcher at Australian universities. During her varied career she has led management education programs in Australia and workshops on design and use of simulation in business and education in Russia, Finland, England and the USA.
Elyssebeth has co-authored or co-edited eight books on aspects of education design with special reference to use of simulation as a learning strategy. Elyssebeth has worked in all sectors of education and both the private and public employment sectors. She is a recipient of the Ray Page Award for lifetime achievement in simulation in Australia and is an honourary (life) member of both Simulation Australasia and ISAGA (the International Simulation and Gaming Association). Her passion is working with learners to assist them find their own pathways to career and life success. She is an avid traveller and has visited at least fifty countries and presented workshops and seminars in many of them. |
